As part of the Ministry of Urban Development’s Smart City Challenge, the Durgapur Municipal Corporation is launching a slogan writing competition for all residents of Durgapur above age 18.

Eligibility: All residents of Durgapur city above age 18 on October 31, 2015

Rules: Write a slogan in a maximum of ten words on the topic of Smart City Durgapur. The slogan should be high on “impact factor”, and be catchy and easily understandable/identifiable by the resident body of Durgapur. Submissions should be in .PDF format only.

Languages: English or Bengali

Last date for submission is 31st October 2015.

FIRST PRIZE: Rs 1000 (One Thousand Only)

1. The winner shall be chosen on the basis of originality, creative flair and relevance to the idea of Smart City we are promoting.
2. The Name, D.O.B and contact information of the participant must be mentioned in the entry.
3. The decision of Durgapur Municipal Corporation for selecting the winner shall be treated as final.
