Citizens of Indore (especially Students) are invited to participate in Essay Writing Competition for Smart City Indore under the theme Mere Sapno ka Sheher - Indore.
As a part of the Citizen Participation process, we are hosting this essay writing contest to get deeper understanding of the dreams and aspirations of the Citizens of Indore. We are committed to the cohesive development of our city. We encourage our citizens to participate in this process whole heartedly.
To Simplify the process, you may use the following template
Para 1: The Idea of Your Smart City : Indore (Max 25-50 words)
Para 2: What is Top Priority Area OR Idea for Making Indore as Smart city? (150-250 Words)
Para 3: Why is it important for Indore to have the features you are recommending? (150-250 Words)
Para 4: What is your smart solution to implement your Idea? (150-250 Words)
The TOP 5 Essays will be rewarded:
a) 1st Prize – Cheque of Rs. 25000 /- (Twenty five Thousand only)

Indore is a proud participant of the smart cities challenge.
This city definitely has potential for being a smart city.Indore is the financial capital of Madhya Pradesh and it is soon going to transform into an IT hub.
Indore, definitely has great potential for being a smart city because of following reason:
1) Indore is financial capital of MP.
2) It would be IT hub due to presence of IT majors like TCS and Infosysy. Govt has given 100 acres of land to each of giants. Both would be in Indore SEZ.
Realising this dream of Indore as a smart city will be a great acheivement and it will produce glorious results.
पेन सिटी इनिशिएटिव्ज
मेरी प्राथमिकता का क्षेत्र है अण्डरग्राउण्ड बिजली लाइन ताकि सडक इलेक्ट्रिीसिटी पोल्स से मुक्त रहे और बिजली की चोरी रूक जाए। पूरे शहर में दोहरी वाटर पाइप लाइन हो एक पेय जल की तो दूसरी रिसाइक्लिंग किए गए जल की जिसका उपयोगिता के अनुसार उपयोग किया जा सके। शहरों का यातायात सुगम हो ,सडकें साफ सुथरी तथा चैडी हो। विकलांगों के लिए सार्वजनिक स्थानों बसस्टाॅप आदि पर रैम्प का निर्माण हो। सारे शहर को वाईफाई की सुविधा से जोडकर स्मार्ट स्वरूप प्रदान किया जाना चाहिए।
इंदौर को स्मार्ट सिटी बनाने के लिए स्मार्ट साल्युशंस
इन्दौर में स्मार्ट सिटी की अधोसंरचनाएं मौजूद हैं। । यहां पुरानी बस्तियांे की बसाहट कर, कान्ह नदी की सफाई कर, दोहरी जल लाइनें, गैस लाइन अण्डरग्राउण्ड इलेक्ट्रिीसिटी लाइन डालनंे के साथ परिवहन व्यवस्था में मैट्रो को जोडकर सडकों को चैडा बनाने तथा मास्टर प्लान का दृढ कार्यान्वयन कर इसे स्मार्ट सिटी का स्वरूप दिया जहा सकता है। इन्दौर मेरे सपनों का नहीं बल्कि मेरे और पूरे इन्दौर वासियों के स्मार्ट सिटी के सपने को साकार करने वाला शहर होना चाहिए।
प्राथमिकता क्षेत्र
मेरे सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है कि इंदौर की पुरानी बस्तियोें का स्मार्ट सिटी की तर्ज पर विकास होना चाहिए । पुरानी बसाहट को गिराकर सर्वसुविधायुक्त नई बसाहट निर्मित की जानी चाहिए। स्मार्ट सिटी में दिए गए प्रावधान के अंतर्गत क्षेत्रानुसार विकास के लिए खजराना क्षेत्र सर्वाधिक उपयुक्त है । यहां ऐतिहासिक धरोहरें हैं जिनका एक समान विकास कर आकर्षक बनाया जाए साथ ही पुरानी बसाहट गिराकर स्मार्ट सिटी की सुविधाओं की तर्ज पर पुर्नबसाहट की जानी चाहिए।
खुबियां इंदौर की
यह मध्य प्रदेश की कर्मशियल केपिटल होने के साथ साथ एजुकेशन हब है बेहतर प्रशिक्षण देने वाले कोचिंग सेंटर और सबसे महत्वपूर्ण है आईआईटी और आईआईएम का एक साथ होना। देश के रक्षा, चिकित्सा तथा अंतरिक्ष विकास में योगदान देने वाला संस्थान प्रगत प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान -केट यहां स्थित है। यह ऐसा शहर है जो सडक, रेल तथा वायुमार्ग से पूरे देश से जुडा हुआ है। यहां मेडिकल हब, आईटी हब तथा हास्पिटिलिटी हब विकसित हो रहे है। प्रदेश का एकमात्र और देश का आधुनिकतम डायमण्ड पार्क यहां विकसित हो रहा है

मेरे सपनोे का शहर इंदौर पूर्ण सुनियोजित, नागरिक सुविधाओं से भरपूर होना चाहिए जहां सभी के लिए आवास सुलभ हो, चिकित्सा सुगम हो तथा रोजगार की अपार संभावनाएं हों तथा वह एक शिक्षा, आईटी तथा चिकित्सा हब के रूप में इतना विकसित हो कि पूरे देश के लोग यहां आकर उक्त सुविधाएं प्राप्त कर सकें।
